I got this as my first tenkara rod and I have loved every single moment with it. The rod is beautiful, I prefer softer action rods and this is real perfection. I fought this bass for what felt like forever, was probably around 2min but I was able to keep this fish pinned with proper rod angles and not worry about the tippet breaking and just focus on keeping tension. Hopefully I'll be lucky enough to continue to put this rod to the test. 7/5 rod, 10/5 company
