Cling MAG GRAB "mini"
We at Rocky MTN Tenkara love a good small business to partner with and we were lucky enough to run into the Cling crew at the Denver Fly Fishing show. When it comes to engineering and design it doesn't have to be complicated, Jared and Grace May, have something unique to the industry and we are excited to have our own design. Thank you Cling!

Introducing the Cling MAG GRAB "mini": this magnetic fly patch is crafted with durable, anodized aircraft grade aluminum alloy, making it the go-to for years of use. But the real catch is the rare earth neodymium magnet, carefully selected for its delicacy in removing flies yet strength in holding pliers, forceps, and even knives. Plus, the stainless steel plate is top-grade, resistant to corrosion and boasting long-lasting use. Talk about setting the bar for fly fishing accessories and tools!

Before I was using just an old wine cork with some paracord and it worked fine for drying my flies. I found ot my local shop RMT had them for sale I picked it up and I'll never go back to cork this magnet it amazing just the right size for my Yonah pack.
Thanks for the review Troy, these are also made by a small company like ourselves. I love throwing this on my shirt as I start to hike, when I hear the click my body just knows now its time to get fishing!
Over the years, as a visually challenged fisherman, I have tried all sorts of management tools to keep track of my flies. I have used magnets in the past to hold my flies but the designs have been narrow and restrictive. The more open Cling Mag Grab has replaced the narrower item I had and I have appreciated the ease and shape of the "open tray" design. I'm only a few weeks in on it's use, but it has met all my needs well. Yup... it's staying on my person when I'm on the water!
I have found this to be a lot more handy than I thought it would be. I have this stuck to my fishing pack and mostly use it to hold my tweezers, nippers, and flies while I’m tying on a new fly. I don’t like tools dangling, snagging, or clanking on my fishing pack with a lanyard or cord so I keep them in a pocket and take them out as needed. This secures those little items within easy reach until I’m done with them. The magnet is strong enough to hold hemostats, tweezers, nippers, etc., and of course flies. This is a good, durable, well built, and well thought out product. It’s one of those items I didn’t know I needed until I used it.
