A kebari is the traditional Japanese tenkara fly. A copper kebari uses copper wire or copper bead to:

• Add weight (gets down fast in pocket water)

• Added flash (attracts fish in stained or fast water)

• Increase durability (wire ribbing makes the fly tough)
